Private equity firm Thoma Bravo is in advanced talks to acquire human resources software provider Dayforce Inc (NYSE:DAY) in a take-private deal that could be announced in the coming weeks, Bloomberg reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The discussions, while progressing, could still face delays or fall through, the report said. Minneapolis-based Dayforce is at roughly $8.4 billion.
Thoma Bravo, led by co-founder Orlando Bravo, has remained an active acquirer this year despite a difficult environment for private equity dealmaking, Bloomberg said.
