U.S. President Donald Trump met with Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) CEO Lip-Bu Tan along with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, according to a statement posted on Truth Social on Thursday.
Trump described the meeting as "very interesting" and praised Tan’s "success and rise" as "an amazing story."
The president indicated that Tan and the Cabinet members would continue discussions and present recommendations to him within the next week.
"Mr. Tan and my Cabinet members are going to spend time together, and bring suggestions to me during the next week," Trump wrote in his social media post.
