Two Delta Air Lines Inc (NYSE:DAL) planes collided when taxiing at New York’s LaGuardia airport on Wednesday evening, a company spokesperson confirmed in a mailed statement.
Several videos uploaded on social media sites such as X showed two Delta regional jets colliding at low speeds, with the wing of one plane appearing to have detached in the incident. Delta said there was one minor injury from the incident.
A Delta spokesperson told Investing.com that the two airplanes were operated by subsidiary Endeavor Air, and that the company was working with the relevant authorities to review the incident.
Officials at the Federal Aviation Administration and LaGuardia could not be immediately reached for comment.
